The main differences between these two products is that iSocket PowerWatch can only send sms power cut notifications, but iSocket 3G will not only send text message when power goes out, but can also call you. iSocket 3G will also support an optional temperature sensor to work as mobile temperature monitoring system – iSocket PowerWatch will NOT support the temperature sensor.
Note! iSocket PowerWatch is only suitable for GSM (2G) networks, not for 3G, which is why it will not work in the US, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, Switzerland, Singapore or Israel anymore, but it is fine for the UK or other countries where GSM networks continue to be supported.
