We use security-style IP network cameras and aim for 24/7 availability, but our equipment is often at unattended sites. iSocket has proven to be a great tool to power cycle locked up gateways, modems and cameras, and it is very useful to have insight into local power status — tells us if an offline camera is due to utility power or Internet outage. Before iSocket we were paying $150 callout charges or leaning on partners to reset gateways. Since we installed iSockets those problems are gone, and we can keep our content in front of viewers.
